The Show: A Tribute To A Friend

A/N: I was trying to think of a proper way to pay tribute and respect to an amazing lady and valued friend who passed away a few days ago after a long and hard fight against cancer. Fran was a fan of professional wrestling. We originally met in a chat group over at Yahoo that was about wrestling and on that small common interest, a very strong friendship developed and even though we never managed to meet in person, I truly feel that Fran is my sister in every way, but blood. She was an incredible person with a big heart, great talents and just full of awesomeness and love. I'm going to miss that lady!

If I had the money and resources available, I'd put together a tribute wrestling show in her honor. I know she's get a kick out of that. But I can't do that in reality, so I decided to do it instead in another way... with a wrestling fic. I wish this was a real show, but unfortunately, that's not possible. But real or not, we can just suspend our belief for a few minutes and pretend it is. She deserves it.

We love you, Sis! Rest In Peace...

This is for you...

***************

A large crowd fills the arena. The lights come on and Paul Heyman comes to the ring and grabs a microphone. He addresses the sold-out crowd at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC.

"I know that most of you tonight came here thinking that you were seeing some rinky-dink Indy show. Well, that's not going to happen. My name is Paul Heyman. (An E-C-W chant starts up). Yeah, I miss it too! Forget about what you thought you were going to see. I called in a few favors and called up a few friends. And yeah, I called Vince too. (Boos) A very special lady who was a great friend to us all passed away a few days ago and I decided that to pay proper homage to her memory and legacy, I would put on a card of epic proportions. So here we are! And Fran, this is for you, darling! Enjoy the show!"

As Paul leaves the ring, music hits and to the ring comes current TNA (and former WWE / ECW) superstar Rob Van Dam. He and Paul nod to each other in the aisle as Heyman heads to the back and RVD climbs into the ring.

"Well, I got a phone call a few days ago and Paul told me to be here", Rob said. "And here I am... The Whole F' in Show!" (A big RVD chant fills the arena). Fozzy wanted to be here too, but he had a prior engagement. But I'm here and tonight, I'm going to bring down the house and steal the show." "Well Rob, I see you're cocky as ever", a voice rang out as Jerry Lynn came walking out from the back, carrying a mic. "But now, you're going to have to back up those words." "Oh, I'll back 'em up", Rob remarked. "Because I'm R-V-D." "We know who you are", Jery said. "Now, let's see what you can do! Let's get a referee out here and do this!" A referee comes running from the back and signals for the bell. We've got our first match.

Rob Van Dam versus Jerry Lynn

Several minutes of great back and forth, hard hitting action. Lynn works over the arm of RVD, while Rob tries to stay out of his reach and uses the hit and run method, with several high impact blows to Lynn. Everytime Lynn tries for a pin, RVD kicks out at two and a half - same thing for each pin attempt by RVD as Lynn continues to kick out. Finally, RVD manages to catch Lynn with a big suplex off the top rope. RVD decides to head up top for the frog-splash, but takes just a second too long to pose for the fans and do the R-V-D shoulder-pointing thing. RVD leaps, but in a great moment of expert precison and timing, Lynn manages to catch him just as he comes flying down and grabs him in a classic small-package roll-up. The referee counts three and it's over.

Winner: Jerry Lynn

Lynn and RVD shake hands and embrace in a hug of mutual respect and friendship as we cut now to an interview area set up where announcer Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by.

"Please allow me to introduce my guests at this time. They are arguably the greatest wrestling faction of all time. Please welcome Ric Flair, Tully Blancard, Sid Vicious, Barry Windham, Lex Luger, 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko and James J. Dillon. These are The Horsemen."

And there they are, the most elite grouping ever - The Four Horsemen. Flair gets the mic and cuts loose, stylin' and profilin' as only the "Nature Boy" can do. Double A speaks next and talks about how things come and go, but the legacy of this group, the very best, continues to live forever. Luger and Tully both speak as well and Windham is preparing to talk when music hits!

"Break it down!"... Here comes Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. It's Degeneration X.

Triple H speaks first and tells Ric how much he loves him and respects the legacy of the Nature Boy and the Horsemen. But he doesn't agree about the Horsemen being the best. One other group holds that distinction and that's DX. HBK agrees and says that Ric and the Horsemen may have paved the roads for DX and his generation, but DX took those old pothole filled single lane streets and turned 'em into super highways. Billy Gunn & X-Pac take their shots as well and Road Dogg concludes with "and if you're not down with that, words for you..."

J.J. Dillon interupts. "We seem to have a dilema here. You say you're the best, but everyone knows that the Horsemen were the very best of all time. So how about this? Looking at our group, even though we're not all young and spry anymore after so many years of building this business so you could be superstars, I think we have enough able bodied guys on hand. There are five of you so how about a five on five tag match later tonight. DX versus The Horsemen?"

HBK and Triple H whisper to the others for a second and HBK agrees for his team. Ric gets the mic and tells DX to be ready to "bring it" cause they're ready to go "all night long.... WOOOOOO!"

Back in the ring, we see that the Disco Inferno has come to the ring with his former tag team partner, "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright. Disco cuts loose with his usual spiel about how he knows that all that everyone wants is just to see the Disco Inferno dance. Alex points out that they have celebrities in the audience. It's the legendary Baron Von Raschke who is sitting next to former WWWF Champion "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff. Alex and Disco invite Ivan and The Baron into the ring. Alex is gushing with respect and welcomes the two wrestling legends. Disco interupts and just wants to know what they think about his dancing. Ivan says that Disco looks like a clown. Disco gets upset, but maintains his composure as he asks Baron Von Raschke what he thinks about the Disco Inferno and his dancing. Baron says that watching Disco makes him think of a small waiting in line at a urinal needing to pee. Disco shoves The Baron to the mat and starts ranting and raving. Disco and Alex jump on Ivan and start with a two-on-one beatdown. The crowd erupts as "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff hits the ring and levels Alex Wright with a patented "Russian Sickle" clothesline. Disco tries to flee and runs right into Baron Von Raschke and "The Claw". Baron hooks the claw on Disco and within a matter of seconds, Disco is laid out as the fans cheer Ivan, Nikita and The Baron.

We cut now to the interview position as Mean Gene is back and he has some sexy ladies with him - former WWE Divas Ivory, Molly Holly, Lita and current TNA Knockout Tara, who was once known as Victoria in the WWE. The ladies take turns on the mic about how they represent what real "Divas" are capable of and stand for. Here comes another famous Diva - Trish Stratus. Trish smiles and takes the mic. She loves her friends and they built quite a legacy in their days in the WWE, but those days are over and there's a new kind of Diva in town. Better, hotter and sexier than ever. Trish brings out Beth Phoenix, Natayla and Gail Kim. Words are exchanged and finally. Lita suggests that why don't they all take it to the ring with an eight woman tag match... RIGHT NOW! Trish and the WWE Divas agree and the ladies head towards the ring where a referee is waiting.

The referee is getting ready to start the match and call for the bell when a voice interupts. Here comes Madusa Micelli and she's wearing a referee's shirt. If there's a Diva match, she's the one who will be the referee. The ladies argree and the first referee leaves as Madusa calls for the bell. We've got a match.

Special Referee: Madusa
Ivory, Lita, Molly Holly & Victoria (Tara) versus Trish Stratus, Gail Kim, Natayla & Beth Phoenix

It's chaos from almost the very beginning as these eight women are determined to show the world that they are skilled wrestlers. Back and forth it goes with quick tags and lots of double and triple-teaming from both sides. Finally, after about ten minutes of great action, Trish manages to nail Lita with the "Chick Kick" to get the cover and pin.

Winners: Trish, Natayla, Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix

We cut to backstage and Paul Heyman is talking to "Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley. Heyman thanks Mick for being there and asks Mick if he's going to wrestle. Mick says that he's not really ready to wrestle a match. A voice from off camera asks "Well then, how about a fight, you shaggy-haired, toothless, one-eared, book writing bastard!". And here is Terry Funk. Funk says that he's not ready to wrestle either, but he's damn sure ready for a fight. And his best fights have always been against Foley, so how about it... "for old times sake". Foley smiles and agrees. It's Funk versus Foley later in the evening in a hardcore street fight.

We go back to the interview position and Mean Gene has with him manager Jim Cornette, along with "Sweet" Stan Lane, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey. Cornette starts to talk, as only Jimmy Cornette can and puts over the tag team legacy that is the Midnight Express. And we hear a voice interupt. "Excuse me! I said excuse me!". Here is WWE Cougar Vickie Guerrero. She's so tired of hearing these "old men" talk and the only ones who should be talking are the superstars of today, like "my boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler". Dolph Ziggler, Chavo Guerrero and Zack Ryder come out as well to back Vickie up as she puts the bad mouth to Cornette and the Midnight Express.

Finally, Cornette has had enough and snaps. If Vickie wasn't a woman, he'd smack her with his tennis racket. If those clowns want to run their mouth, so be it. Do it in the ring. Vickie agrees and we head to the ring for another match.

The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane & Dennis Condrey) w/ Jim Cornette versus Dolph Ziggler, Chavo Guerrero and "Long Island Iced Z" Zack Ryder w/ Vickie Guerrero

The Midnight's start off in control with quick tags and lots of triple teaming on Zack. Finally, Zack manages to tag off to Dolph who gets the advantage on Condrey and manages to isolate him on the wrong side of the ring. A beatdown on Condrey goes on for a bit, but Dennis manages to catch Chavo with a jawbreaker and escapes to tag in Stan Lane. Lane brawls with Chavo for a bit and then everyone comes into the ring. Vickie gets up on the apron to distract the referee and Cornette comes over and pulls her down. Cornette and Vickie are arguing on the outside. The ref is distracted and doesn't see Bobby hit the "Alabama Jam" on Zack and cover for several seconds. Ziggler slides in and hits the "Zig-Zag" on Bobby just as the referee turns around. Dolph covers Bobby and gets the pin.

Winners: Dolph, Chavo and Zack w/ Vickie Guerrero

As the ring clears, we go backstage and see a black limo pulling up. A door opens and out steps WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. He's walking towards the ring and grabs a mic. He commends Heyman on putting together a "fair show", but remarks on the number of legends running around. "This damn place reeks of Ben Gay and Depends", Vince proclaims. "Legends are valuable commodities, but they need to remember their place", Vince continues and goes into a long, Vince-style rant about how lately, the "old timers" in WWE seem to be getting a little full of themselves and think they run the company. Vince knows that some of those "defiant trouble-makers" are here and demands that they come out and face him.

The sound of breaking glass and here comes Stone Cold Steve Austin to the ring. Austin does the four-corner, middle finger salute to the fans and calls Vince a "sorry-ass bastard!". Vince says that he wants to deal with all the trouble-makers at once and calls out the next "legend", Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Bret Hart comes to the ring and gets in Vince's face, bu Vince backs off. "There's one more that I'm going to deal with - all of you at once!", he says and calls out Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The crowd erupts as "The Rock"comes down and comes to the ring.

The Rock, Bret Hart and Steve Austin each cut brief promos on Vince and Austin calls him a "stupid sunuvabitch" at least a dozen times. Vince finally gets the mic back and says that he's tired of the disrespect from the WWE Legends. He made all of them and can break all of them too. And that's what he's going to do. Vince waves to the back and we get an "awesome" response from the crowd as former WWE Champion The Miz, "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio, lead by "The Voice of the WWE" Michael Cole all come to the ring.

Cole gets the mic. He says "And I quote: Sometimes, even legends need to be taught respect. And tonight, by order of our chairman, Mr. McMahon, these men are going to teach each of you respect!"

Adn a brawl erupts in the ring as the six men begin to fight and go at it. Austin, Hart and Rock brawling with Miz, Del Rio and Sheamus. Cole and Vince are directing traffic. And the crowd explodes. Here is recently retired and former 11-time Champion Edge to the ring. He nails Del Rio with a spear and sends him flying to the floor. Another eruption from the crowd as Sheamus backs up Bret Hart in the corner and looks ready to work him over. "The Viper" Randy Orton is here. He jumps into the ring and grabs Sheamus, nailing him from behind with an RKO, before tossing him to the floor and following him out of the ring. The Miz, along with Cole and Vince, are alone in the ring with Austin, The Rock and Bret Hart. The Rock grabs The Miz and it's Rock Bottom time. And now, "People's Elbow" for Miz. Bret Hart corners Michael Cole, who takes a swing at him. Bret deflects the blow and slaps Cole to the mat. Sharpshooter by Bret on Michael Cole. Vince surveys his troops being decimated and tries to run from the ring, but runs right into a "Stunner" from Steve Austin. Cole, Vince and Miz are tossed from the ring as Orton and Edge rejoin Austin, Bret and The Rock in the middle of the ring. Austin calls for some beers and we have a "Beer Bash" party as the five men celebrate.

We go backstage again and see The Horsemen in their dressing room. They've been joined by Steve "Mongo" McMichael. They're trying to decide who gets to wrestle. Arn wants to, but can't. Same for Luger. So the Horsemen team will be Ric, Tully, Sid, Dean Malenko and Barry Windham with Arn, Mongo and Lex at ringside. Arn makes a little speech and they dedicate this match to Pillman, Benoit, Hennig, Woman & Liz. J.J. Dillon says that he has a surprise for them. He pulls out his cell phone and we get Ole Anderson on speaker-phone. Ole is blunt and to the point as only Ole can be. "Kick those punks ass!", he says.

We go back now to Paul Heyman who is standing by on a small, wooden stage set up at the back of the arena. This show is a tribute to one of the finest people I've ever known and Paul has a surprise. This is for Fran. And we get the entire cast of the movie "Rent" as they take to the stage and reprise their scene from the movie and sing the song "Seasons of Love".

Back to the ring now and it's time for a brawl. The guest ring announcer, Joey Styles, makes the introductuctions and it's on.

Hardcore Street Fight
Mick Foley versus Terry Funk

It's vintage Funk versus Foley as the two men tear into each other at the bell and just brawl, beating the holy hell out of each other. Chairs, Kendo sticks, street signs, tables, etc... It doesn't matter. Mick and Foley are just tearing into each other. Finally, they collide in the center of the ring as both men attempt a clothesline at the same time. Both men are down and the referee starts to count them out, but stops as music fills the arena. The sounds of Metallica and "Enter Sandman". Here comes the Sandman through the crowd.

Sandman makes it through the crowd and climbs into the ring. He pops open and chugs a couple of beers before bashing one of the cans open against his forehead. Meanwhile, both Funk and Foley have pulled themselves up in seperate corners of the ring and are watching Sandman steal their thunder. Foley and Funk eye each other and begin to move towards Sandman. But then the lights go out. Seconds later, they're back on and it's Sabu. Sabu doesn't say a word, but points to the sky and then looks over at Sandman. Sandman gives Sabu a nod and they turn and attack Foley and Funk. The ref, who has been standing by just watching gets the mic. The match with Foley versus Funk is no-contest. Now it's changed to a tag match. It's ECW Rules and a hardcore street fight. It's Foley and Funk versus Sabu and The Sandman.

Tag Team Hardcore Street Fight
Mick Foley & Terry Funk versus The Sandman & Sabu

It's exactly what you'd expect it to be. Brawling, blood, and more brawling. Tables, ladders, chairs, kendo sticks, street signs, and anything else not tied down is used. Finally, after several minutes of four of the best just beating the total crap out of each other, Funk manages to catch Sandman with a chair shot to the top of the skull, knocking him totally senseless and allowing Funk to get a pin and three count.

Winners: Mick Foley & Terry Funk

Backstage and we see another car pull up - it's a red, white and blue hummer. The doors open and out comes Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. He's headed towards the arena. Kurt is stopped by Mean Gene Okerlund.

"Kurt Angle, what are you doing here?", Okerlund asks. Kurt explains that you can't have a tribute show to one of the greatest wrestling fans of all time without having one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, pro wrestling's only Olympic Gold Medalist. And he's headed to the ring and has an open challenge for anyone, from any company, to come to the ring and face him in a match... right now! Kurt heads down towards the ring and grabs the mic. He re-issues his challenge for anyone to come out and face him.

As Kurt continues to pace the ring, music hits and here comes WWE Champion John Cena. Cena gets on the mic and says that his first major feud in wrestling was against Kurt. And he'd be happy to do it one more time and take Angle down. As Angle and Cena go nose to nose, another voice is heard from as they are interupted by 8-time World Champion and Hall of Fame Legend Harley Race, who comes out on the stage. Harley says that both men are great stars and future Hall of Famers and legends. But to him, they're both just whiney, snot nosed punks. He wishes he could still get in the ring and kick both their butts, but injuries and car wrecks have taken their toll and he can't. But he has a man with him who can. It's Vader time!

Here comes Vader and he's slimmed down and looking as impressive and monsterous as ever. Race smiles and says it's should be a triple-threat match... if Cena and Angle are not scared. Angle and Cena agree and we have a match.

Triple Threat Match
John Cena versus Kurt Angle versus Vader w/ Harley Race

A great three man with Angle using classic wrestling to get the early advantage on Cena, but Cena uses the strength to come back and gain control. Vader proves he's as strong and dangerous as ever as he just muscles and pounds away at both men, busting Cena open early in the match. Finally, Kurt goes for the ankle-lock on Cena, but Cena reverses and locks in the STFU. Harley Race reaches in and grabs Cena, giving Cena a hard headbutt that knocks Cena out of the ring and to the floor. Vader takes advantage and grabs Angle, hitting him with a huge Vader-Bomb powerslam. Vader covers. Cena tries to get into the ring to break it up, but he's grabbed again by Harley Race and can't make it in time. Vader gets the pin and the win.

Winner: Vader w/ Harley Race

We go back now to the interview area and Mean Gene is with Paul Heyman, who has a guest to bring out. Here comes Paul Bearer. Tonight, in the main event, his Undertaker will be here. And their opponent, whoever it may be, will rest in peace.

We go back to the ring and special guest ring announcer "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko. Larry speaks for a moment about "the game of human chess" and his thirty-plus "glorious years" as wrestling's "Living Legend". And now he's introducing this legendary match.

The Horsemen (Ric Flair, Tully Blancard, Barry Windham, Dean Malenko & Sid Vicious) w/ Lex Luger, Arn Anderson and Mongo McMichael versus Degeneration X (Triple H, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, The Road Dogg, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn and X-Pac)

Before the match can begin, HHH gets on the mic. Since Ric and the Horsemen have Arn, Luger and Mongo at ringside, it's only fair that DX has their own secret weapon. Here comes Chyna, who will be at ringside for DX. And the match begins as all ten men just go at it and show exactly why The Horsemen and DX were so dominating in their respective eras. Finally, Road Dogg gets tripped up by Mongo from the outside and goes to confront him. As the referee is distracted by this, Double-A runs in and we see a spine-shattering spinebuster by "The Enforcer" on Billy Gunn. Tully makes the cover, but HHH breaks it up. It's total OINGO BOINGO time as everyone is brawling and fighting in the ring. HBK hits the "Sweet Chin Music" on Windham, but Luger breaks it up from the outside before HBK can get a three count. Malenko manages to lock Waltman in the "Texas Cloverleaf", but Chyna is in and breaks that up. The Horsemen all flee to the floor as DX stands tall in the ring. We see Chyna move in behind Triple H and X-Pac, who are standing side by side and yelling at the Horsemen to re-enter the ring. Chyna drops down and delivers a low blow to both HHH and X-Pac from behind. The Horsemen storm the ring as Tully and Malenko nail HBK and send him the floor. Windham takes out Road Dogg with a flying clothesline that sends both of them tumbling out of the ring. And Sid Vicious slings Billy Gunn to the outside where Luger, Mongo and Double-A jump on him like a pack of wild dogs. Sid picks up the fallen X-Pac and plants him hard into the mat with a big powerbomb. Ric struts and locks in the figure-four leglock on Triple H. The ref counts Sid's cover of X-Pac and the Horsemen win.

Winners: The Horsemen

As DX is helped from the ring, Ric and the Horsemen celebrate. Flair gets the mic and brings in Chyna. HHH didn't treat her right. Waltman didn't treat her right. But Chyna took that ride on Space Mountain and decided to style and profile with the Horsemen. Chyna gets her revenge on Hunter and Waltman. And the Horsemen reign supreme and party all night long. Wooooooooo!

And now, we head back to the interview area where it has been set up for a special interview area. It's Piper's Pit. Roddy Piper is here and he's got the mic. Roddy cuts loose and reminds everyone of who he is and what he's done. This is Piper's Pit where he gets the answers to all the questions. And he has two guests. The first is former WWWF Champion Bob Backlund. And the other is the biggest name in professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan.

Backlund starts off the segment by calling everyone "plebeians". Hogan spews the usual lines about "the powers of Hulkamania" and talks about "body-slamming that eight-hundred pound Andre the Giant in Detroit!". Piper brings up that Hogan was scared of Backlund and never defended the WWF title against him back when he was champion. Backlund accuses Hogan of being "pusillanimous" and says that Hogan never gave Backlund a chance because he knew he'd be defeated. Hogan defends his actions, saying Backlund was "boring" and "old news even then!" Piper continues to push the buttons and Backlund makes a challenge. Right now, in the ring, why not have Backlund versus Hogan.

Hogan backs off and makes some excuses, as only Hogan can do. He just recently had back surgery and isn't cleared to wrestle, but if Backlund wants an opponent, then Hogan has one for him. Backlund doesn't care who it is and heads to the ring as Hogan waves someone from the back. It's Matt Hardy. Piper quickly volunteers to be the special guest referee and we've got a match.

Special Guest Referee: Roddy Piper
Bob Backlund versus Matt Hardy w/ Hulk Hogan

Backlund takes an early advantage, but Matt is younger and stronger and after a cheap shot in the corner, manages to take over the match. He's slapping Backlund around and scores with the "Twist of Hate". But instead of covering Backlund, Matt decides to jaw a bit with Piper and starts talking trash. Words are exchanged and Matt shoves Piper into the corner. By this time, Backlund is back up and slides in behind Matt, locking in the cross-face chicken wing. Matt quickly taps and Piper calls for the bell.

Winner: Bob Backlund

As Matt rolls around on the mat, holding his arm and shoulder, Hulk Hogan jumps up on the ring apron to complain. Piper nails Hogan with a hard left and Hogan goes back down to the floor, backing up the aisle as he and Matt Hardy leave. Piper holds up Backlund's arm in victory.

We go back to the interview area where Mean Gene is standing by with "The Genius" Lanny Poffo. Poffo has a poem to read.

A warm and loving soul
A friend and sister to all
Fought the battle until the end
Until finally hearing Heaven's call

A bigger heart could not be found
Your wisdom, your passions, you wrapped us around
From the very beginning,
From day one until the end
You exemplified the definition of friend

Your love of wrestling was strong
Your family, even more
You made room in your heart for all of us
And kept it all real
And of that I am sure

Now your body is gone
But you still live in our hearts
With memories
And love
We shall never be apart

We love you, Fran...

And now, back to the ring for the final match of the evening.

Paul Bearer is in the ring and the lights go down. Here comes the Undertaker. Undertaker does his full entrance. As the lights go up, Paul Bearer gets on the mic. Who will face his Undertaker tonight? We hear music. It's Wolfpac music and here comes "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash, accompanied by Scott Hall. They climb into the ring and Hall gets the mic. He wants to conduct a little survey. Are you here to see the Undertaker (big cheers) or are you here to see "Big Sexy" and "The Bad Guy"? (Big cheers again!) "One more for the bad guys!" Nash gets the mic. He was thinking about making this challenge for Wrestlemania 28, but why wait. How about tonight, it's The Undertaker versus "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash? Before Taker and Paul Bearer can respond, we hear more music. And here comes Chris Jericho. Jericho gets a mic and tells the crowd that "Greenville Is Jericho!". He says that if there is a match tonight against the Undertaker, arguably the biggest wrestling phenom ever, it's only fitting that he is the one to take Taker out. We see lots of bickering back and forth with Nash and Jericho and Taker, along with Paul Bearer and Scott Hall.

Here comes Paul Heyman out on the ramp with a microphone. It's a Three-Way-Dance. It's Undertaker versus Jericho versus Nash. And it starts right now!

Three Way Dance
The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer versus "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash w/ Scott Hall versus Chris Jericho

Just total craziness and chaos from start to finish as all three men pulled out all the stops to attempt to earn their way to victory. Jericho manages to catch Nash with the Codebreaker, but Hall reaches in and places Nash's foot on the ropes to prevent the pin. Undertaker takes up Jericho for the "Last Ride" but Nash manages to break it up. A powerbomb by Nash on Undertaker, but Paul Bearer distracts the referee and Taker manages to kick out at the last second. Just great action from start to finish. And in the end, Nash goes for the power-bomb on Jericho. He has him up, but Jericho manages to rake the eyes and hit a codebreaker. He scores. Jericho attempts to go for a pin, but he see's Scott Hall on the ring apron. Distracted for a second, Jericho walks right into a big boot by Undertaker. Taker picks up Jericho and plants him with the Tombstone to get the pin.

Winner: The Undertaker

As Undertaker gets his hand raised in victory, he nods and kneels to the heavens above in a salute and tribute. We hear the classic ten bell salute play as the time-keeper rings the bell. And the dressing room empties as all of the wrestlers and performers from the night come out and stand in silence, paying their respects.

We love you, Fran!

Rest In Peace: Frances Gonzales Delehanty (July 5, 1949 - June 14, 2011)

  1. Doug,
I don't know if you have heard of me but I was a good friend of our sister Fran. After all these months, I can not believe that I am seeing this for the first time by coincidence... I have had Fran on mind today and was missing her so much. This has made my day and I KNOW she'd have loved this!
Rest in peace Fran. We miss you and love you!
