WWE Monday Night RAW - 12/23/03

What up all, and welcome to the Monday Night RAW recap. I'm the Wrestling Informer's resident degenerate, Doug M. with all the news and action on Spike TV - Monday Night RAW. Tonite is the Best of 2003 - no live show tonite, but just the same, we've got all the results and all the drama.

It's an early Christmas present from the WWE - it's time to get RAW.
After the opning montage and Eric Bischoff's smiling face, we see Coach and Jerry "the King" Lawler sitting in an empty arena to call the show.
They do a little verbal sparring and talk about the best of 2003.

Survivor Series - Team Bischoff versus Team Austin

I'm not even going to try to recap this one - I was sitting and watching and enjoying too much to take many notes. But I will do the order of elimination and recap at the end.

3-D by the Dudleys takes out Scott Steiner - 1rst man eliminated.

Mark Henry squashes Booker T. - Booker is 2nd Elimination

Everyone covers Mark Henry and he's pinned - Mark is the 3rd man eliminated

Orton RKO's RVD - RVD is the 4th man eliminated.

A neckbreaker by Chris Jericho takes out D-Von - D-Von is the 5th to go.
Orton nails Bubba with a low blow and the CLB gets the pin - Bubba is # 6
A superkick by Shawn Michaels fromout of nowhere eliminates Christian - he's # 7

HBK uses a roll up to pin Chris Jericho - the MVP of RAW is # 8
Jericho, after being eliminated, grabs a chair and cold-cocks HBK. Orton climbs to the top and misses a crossbody press, taking out the referee instead. HBK starts to warm up the band, but Eric Bischoff climbs in the ring and nails Shawn with a kick. Austin in and he attacks Eric. He gives a stunner to Orton for good measure, and beats Eric up the ramp. Both men in the ring are down. Here comes Batista and he gives HBK a powerbomb from hell. Orton rolls over and gets the pin.

Winners: Team Bischoff

We see a small video tribute to Stone Cold as he says goodbye to the fans.
From last week on RAW, we see the Eric Bischoff / Mick Foley angle unfold as Eric challenges the Hardcore Legend to a match with him versus Randy Orton. And it's winner take all. Mick agrees, but as the match progresses - Mick stalls and then walks out - out of the arena and out of the WWE. He's confronted by Bischoff and Orton, but never says a word as he quietly and strangely leaves RAW.

Next week on RAW from San Antonio, TX - its for the World Championship as HHH fights HBK - Shawn Michaels.

And we close off with Coach and The King wishing all of us a Merry Christmas and a very Happy Holidays.

And I'd like to echo the Coach and King and wish all the readers out there, as well as the entire staff here at the Informer a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

That's it for RAW tonite. A great show that brought back a lot of great memories. And next week should be great as well. It's the last Raw of 2003, and we have Shawn versus Hunter for the World Championship. Plus, what's up with Mick? Maybe we'll find out next week. Until next time, I'm Doug M. Have a Merry Christmas, be safe, and take it light
