The Rock On Letterman 9/25/03
Just got to see the Rock on the Dave Letterman show. Good interview. Way too short, but funny. Dave asked Rock about wrestling - Rock says he hasn't wrestled in about 8 months - last match - lost to Goldberg. He called Goldberg "a little jewish guy". Funny.
Dave ragged him a bit about his last match being a loss. Doesn't sound like Rock is planning to come back. Dave named off some old school wrestlers names - Rock only recognized a couple of them. Rock did a killer "Jimmy Snuka" impersonation.
They talked about how Rock majored in Criminalogy at the University of Miami - but the money for secret service guys just wasn't enough for Rock to persue that as a career.
Some talk about Rock's tattoo on his arm - it took two 17 1/2 hour sessions - it's a Samoan type ritualistic things and tells the story of his life.
Then they showed a clip of "The Rundown" where he catches Seann William Scott and Stiffler tries to put up a fight against the Rock. Funny as heck!
I think that covers everything. Oh yeah - he talked about Arnold Schwartznegger and his cameo in the Rundown. Rock did an Arnold impersonation and told how they asked Arnold to be in the movie and when he said yes, filmed it minutes later. It was a good bit, but way too short. I can't wait to see the movie though.
