(Retro) Sunday Night Heat - October 12, 2003

Sunday Night Heat - 10/12/03

What up, Informants? Welcome to the Sunday Night Heat Recap. I'm your host, Doug M. Please give your hats and coats to the attendant and have a seat as we relive the experience we all call "Heat". The announcers are Coach and the always master of all things head-related, Al Snow. It taped from the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT.

Test versus Tommy Dreamer

We start off with singles action as Test, accompanied as always by Stacy Keibler takes on the Innovater of Violence, Tommy Dreamer. A lock up and Test is in control - just powering over Dreamer. He's big. He's bad. So he struts. He lands a knee and a slam, but misses an elbow. Dreamer's turn to strut. They go to the outside and Test hides behind Stacy and nails a cheap shot on Tommy. Tommy eats barrier.

Back in the ring, it's all Test until Tommy scores with a neckbreaker & suplex for 2. Test goes to the eyes. Test sets up Dreamer for the boot, but Stacy grabs Test's foot from the outside. Dreamer lands a powerbomb for 2. Tommy to the top, but slips - BALL BUSTER! Test gets the kendo stick, but Stacy grabs the stick before he can use it. Dreamer up, but Test nails him with the boot for the win.

Winner: Test

WWE RAW Rewind: Lance Storm pins Chris Jericho at the end of the tag match on Monday night.

Val Venis versus Eric Young

A semi-squash as it's mostly Val working on the arm. He even uses the hammerlock slam and just seems to be having fun. Young does get in some offense with a big backdrop and a DDT. Finally Val has had enough and lands the ARN ANDERSON SPINEBUSTER FROM HELL. Then it's to the top for the money shot and the pin.

WInner: Val Venis

After the match - Val gave his towel to a hot blonde in pink. Wow!

A look at the Rock and all the publicity and hype surrounding the best action/adventure/comdey flickof the fall season - THE RUNDOWN.

WWE Slam of the Week: From 2 weeks ago - Mark Henry decimates HBK

A look back at RAW from this past Monday and the match with Mark Henry versus Goldberg. Rodney Mack interferes and gets some chin music by HBK. In the ring - Henry & Shawn clash- and Goldy spears Shawn before jackhammering HBK.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Dudleys versus Rene Dupree & Rob Conway w/Sylvian Grenier

Starts off with D-Von versus Dupree. Bubba in with shoulders and fists. Lots of early tags by the Dudleys. Conway in with fists.A slugfest insues, and Bubba splashes Dupree in the corner. Looks like a good place for a commercial... Back and the chaos continues. Bubba gets spread eagle and hits the ringpost. Dupree & Conway double-team and get two. La Res Lite works on the neck of Bubba. Sleeper by Conway, but Bubba fights out with a jawbreaker. Bubba-bomb time. D-Von hot tagged in and cleans house. Bubba comes back in too, for the patented DUSTY FLIP, FLOP, & FLY - BIONIC ELBOW. A 3-D on COnway, but Dupree breaks up the count.

Time for a "whasssuupp!" that hits home. Bubba says - get the tables! D-Von to the outside, where he's nailed by Sylvian, who's been lurking around unnoticed. La Res Lite doubleteams on Bubba, but he starts to fight back. Dupree knocked to the outside - D-Von in and a 3-D for Conway for the pin.
Winners and still champs: The Dudley Boyz

And thet's it for Heat. Not too much happening tonite - it definitely had the B-show feel to it this week. But I guess they can't all be winners. Well, I'm gonna call it a night.

Remember - tommorow on RAW - it's Ric Flair versus Maven. Time for Maven to go back to school. Plus (rumoured) the return of Booker T. It's can't miss Monday night TV. See you tommorow.. Take care.
