(Retro) Sunday Night Heat - September 21, 2003

Sunday Night Heat - 9/21/03

What up all. It's Sunday Night and we're live on Spike TV from Hershey, PA on 9/21/03 with the Unforgiven Pre-show Sunday Night Heat. This is Doug M. coming at ya with music and fun - and if you're not careful, you may learn something before we're done. So, let's get ready, OK! Hey! Hey! Hey!

A quick apology to start off with. I missed the first 13 minutes of Heat tonite, so this is not a complete report. What happened was me and my better half were watching this movie, 'Kung Pow - Enter the Fist" - and lost track of the time. How do I describe this movie? It's the video version of Mae Young. When you see her, you know it's going to be bad, but it's hard to turn away. There are some funny spots, much like some of Mae's antics, but as a whole, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

But enough of that! This is not the Movie Informer! It's the Wrestling Informer and this is Sunday Night Heat..

We join the show in progress, live on Spike TV.. Doing commentary are Al Snow and The Coach!

A video clip with the Rock talking about working with lots of Bulls in his new movie, which premieres this Friday, The Rundown.. Al Snow and the Coach inform us that Rock will be live on RAW tommorow night.

A look back at Mick Foley and RAW Co-GM Steve Austin on Jimmy Kimmel Live this past Friday night..

WWE Rewind: Molly and Gail Kim beat the crap out of Trish this past Monday on RAW - and Lita (looking oh so hot!) is back and makes the save,,
Gail and Molly are in the back. Gail Kim is ranting about all the attention Lita & Trsih are getting. Molly says tonite, they destroy Trish & Lita.

Al and Coach talk about the Diva tag bout and a video reel is shown featuring Randy Orton and HBK Shawn Michaels, building up both men and heavily plugging their matach for later tonite. A recap of all that's happened up to tonite..

Tickets for Wrestlemania XX at Madison Square Garden go on sale this Saturday at the box office..

Maven and Shawn Michaels talk in the back Maven wishes HBK good luck. Shawn replies, "Don't tell Legends when to leave! They leave when they want to leave!".

WWE Sting of the Night: La Resistance toss Spike Dudley from the ring on RAW two weeks ago, and his head does the oingo-boingo off the table.
La Resistance and Rob Conway are in the back. Here's Eric Bischoff and he tells then that since Spike is injured, he's canceling their match... NOT!

It's now a 3 on 2 handicap tables match. And here's Stone Cold to interject his opinion. He makes it a title match for the World Tag Team Championship. So it's now Rob Conway & La Resistance versus Bubba & D-Von Dudley in a Tables Match for the belts.

Al & Coach plug the Last Man Standing match with Shane O'Mac & Kane. Al goes over the rules of the match. A super video promo is shown plugging the match and showing all that has happened before to lead up to this match.

Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Jim Ross come out to take their spots at the announce position, to a great deal of cheers and some bitter comments by Al & Coach. Al & Coach plug the rest of the matches for Unforgiven. You hear JR telling them to shut the hell up. The mics are cut - and JR and the KIng are on the air.

The Return of Stevie Night Heat
Stevie Richards w/ VIctoria versus Maven

A lock up and some shoving as Stevie plays to the crowd. Headlock and clothesline by Maven. A quick fireman's carry and Maven lands a big dropkick. Stevie rolls to the outside. The chase is on as Maven chases Stevie around. Victoria grabs Maven's leg and a cheap shot by Stevie. He distracts the ref while Victoria lands a big legdrop on Maven. Stevie plants Maven with a Stevie-night Neckbreaker for 2. Some boots, a knee and Stevie locks in a full nelson. Maven fights back with elbows and a big suplex. Some clotheslines and Maven hits a flying forearm for 2. Stevie goes to the etes, but Maven lands a neckbreaker. To the top and Victoria grabs Maven's foot. He kicks her away and goes for a missle dropkick. But Stevie isn't home and Maven hits the mat. Stevie covers for 2. Maven gets in a backdrop and goes to the top again for a Buff Bagwell Blockbuster to get the cover and pin.

Winner: Maven

Video of Goldberg and HHH from Summerslam. Goldberg meets the power of the sledgehammer and Evolutution. Highlights of all the antics of Goldy and Hunter leading up to tonite..

The End - It's time for Unforgiven - Live on PPV..

And now, quickly, my predictions for the PPV matches tonite..

Test versus Scott Steiner. If Steiner wins, he gets Stacy and if Test wins, he gets Steiner. I'm going for Test on this one.

World Tag Team Title Handicap Tables Match
La Resistance & Rob Conway versus Bubba & D-Von Dudley - gotta go for the Duds.

Shawn Michaels versus Randy Orton - HBK must step aside for the forces of Evolution - give it to Orton.

Lita & Trish versus Molly & Gail Kim -- It's Lita & Trish all the way..

Last Man Standing - Shane O'Mac versus Kane - my money is on the big red machine.

Al Snow & Coach versus JR and The King.. I want to see a screwbal finish with Al pinning King and JR pinning Coach - giving us the team of JR and Al Snow on RAW, but since that isn't going to happen - I'm going for my guys (since I am Mr. Sunday Night!) - AL and Coach win RAW..

Triple Threat - IC title.
Christian versus RVD versus Chris Jericho

I've changed my mind a hundred times on this one, but Christian and the peeps will keep the gold.

World Championship versus Career
Triple H versus Goldberg

I hate it! I hate it with a passion - but the new champ after tonite will be Goldberg. Let's just hope that Kane or Y2J relieve him of that title very soon..

Well, that's it. For questions and comments - contact me at DougMaynard@wrestlinginformer.net or Doug28352@yahoo.com. This is Doug M., aka Mr. Sunday Night - see ya next week..
